What do you do in an hotel? Do you go somewhere exciting then stay in your hotel room all day watching telly? That’d be mad! Most of us unpack our stuff and head straight out, only coming back to shower, change and sleep. Unless it’s a really special occasion you might as well find somewhere comfortable, clean and good value rather than splurging to sleep in a posh room.
If you want to save money on hotels you can’t beat Travelodge. They’re all over the UK. They’re spotlessly clean. Many are in town centres, convenient for night life, shopping, public transport and business meetings. They’re friendly, efficient, smart and the rooms do exactly what you need them to. They’re comfy, cosy and well equipped without going over the top.
Travelodge is environmentally conscious too, which is always a bonus. The more of us spend money with eco-aware companies, the better our kids’ future will be. Take their toiletries policy. These days most of us like to take our own toiletries. Instead of supplying those little shampoos, soaps and whatnot, which aren’t usually very nice anyway, to be honest, they pass on the savings to us consumers. Most Travelodge hotels sell basic toiletries from vending machines in reception if you forget something like toothpaste. There’s nothing worse than furry teeth! And it means less waste, which is better for everyone.
We stayed at the Horsham Travelodge recently for our friends’ wedding and were genuinely impressed by its no-frills yet excellent service, convenience and cleanliness. No scary hairs in the bathroom, no nasty balls of fluff in crumby corners, no dust in the wardrobe. The bed was very comfortable indeed. Our room was lovely and spacious. It was sound-proofed. And it was very good value for money. Great stuff.
