The whole tooth and nothing but the tooth!

ToothacheYahoooooo, it’s finally here, my turn to host the most fabulous blog carnival on the internet, the BritMums Carnival! It’s been such a long wait to host as the carnival is so so popular, but now it’s all mine….alllll mine…..bwahhh haaa haaa *laughs evilly*, and it really is my pleasure!

I haven’t gone for a theme for this fortnights carnival instalment, but if I had to it would have without a doubt been something to do with teeth! Teeth seem to have taken over my life recently, and I mean it when I say I’ve had it to the back teeth with teeth!

When chatting to a good friend recently about all these toothy problems that I’ve had around me she said that teeth are probably the one thing that start off hurting you, hurt you as you get older and then continue to drive you crazy in your later years, and that’s never been more obvious to me then right now. My husband has a terrible toothache, so is moping about the house every night counting down the seconds until his emergency appointment arrives, and my little girl, who was 1 a few weeks ago, is doing her best to pop up a second tooth, but it’s not showing it’s face without a fight….a fight that lasts for hours, all through the night!! I almost want to yank out the one that’s giving the other half gyp and give it to my little one to save her the trouble…but that’s not going to work is it?

And without further ado, let’s crack on with the carnival. I’ve had some wonderful entries submitted so please do take time to have a read, and a good old nose about all the fabulous featured blogs.

Mari over at Mari’s World looks at when to lose the stabilisers on children’s bikes

Jenny of Jaisee.com writes all about those important birthday cake decisions

Ellie from blueberetmum takes a tongue in cheek peek at keeping up with the Polish

Amy over at and 1 more means five takes a fun look at how to keep the fire burning as parents

Jeannette of Autism Mumma looks at numbers, and what they actually mean to a parent with an autistic child.

Em from Snowing Indoors blogs about the trouble with taking photos of toddlers

Emily of Tealady Mumbles looks at all the things you may want to know about being induced

And last but by no means least, Iona over at Redpeffer’s Blog looks at the importance of passing on happiness to your children.

I’d like to take this moment to thank all the wonderful bloggers who have contributed, keep up the amazing work, and of course BritMums, who organise a mean blog carnival!

Incidentally, if you would like to host the carnival or would like more information about how to get involved, everything you need can be found here

TTFN,

Jenny xx
