Did you try energy saving lightbulbs when they first came out? If so you probably found yourself blundering around in a nasty, yellowy gloom for a few minutes before they brightened fully. Many of us gave up in disgust, returning to traditional bulbs. And many of us haven’t tried low energy bulbs since. But it’s time to revisit them……
